Ceiling and Light Sculptures

There is a 3-dimensional aspect to many things we create in the studio. Lighting fixtures and sconces of various shapes and sizes often require custom molds, forms, and jigs, as well as sometimes strange and creative contraptions for working and supporting these large glass shapes during construction.

This one is approximately 54" in diameter and was inspired by a fixture Tiffany Studios had done for the Havemeyer residence.

Stained Glass Ceiling

Suspended in a wooden grid, this Art Glass Ceiling was composed of flat glass panels and three sizes of glass pyramids.

Also in the picture are two beveled glass mirror windows.

Fused Glass Light Fixture

5' square light fixture with fused panels

This type of light fixture has been done in several sizes and with two or three tieres. It features a brass banding across the top tiers, and specially fused glass sheets cut to size.

Three Tiered Chandeliers

These light fixtures had a brass framework with art deco stained glass panels set in the frame. Our studio has produced these in 4', 5' and 8' lengths for McCormick and Schmick's restaurants.

More images of our lighting fixtures, or our work in restaurants, can be seen in the gallery

Tub Light Fixture

4'x8' Stained Glass Light Fixture.Lovingly refered to as "the tub" in the studio, they were made by basically building two halves of a 4' stained glass dome, and inserting a 4' cylender section between them.
